About SGDS 19

Most of our work is the everyday kind that cannot wait: broken springs, frayed cables, doors off their tracks and openers that have quit. The rest is planned work, such as new doors, wall-mount and smart openers, insulation and weatherstripping, plus commercial doors, dock levelers and operators for businesses along the I-55 corridor.

Every job starts the same way: we test the door's balance before we quote, because the springs carry the door's weight and most other problems follow from them. You hear the price before any work starts. The full list is on our door services page.

Calls to this number are handled by SGDS 19 technicians. On the busiest mornings, such as the first hard freeze of the winter, every technician can already be on a door. When that happens and we cannot reach you in a reasonable time, your call may be forwarded to another trusted garage door company nearby, so you are not left waiting with a door that will not move.

That other company is independent, sets its own prices and is responsible for its own work, so confirm the price and their licensing and insurance before they start. Most calls are handled by SGDS 19 technicians.
